This is more than an A/V role. We are looking for a strategic, technically skilled leader who can bring vision to lifeâ”someone who enjoys solving complex challenges, leading large-scale projects, mentoring others, and implementing cutting-edge media technologies that directly impact students, faculty, staff, and campus communities.
As a senior member of our Technology Client Services team, you will serve as a trusted subject matter expert and project leader responsible for advancing classroom technology, hyflex learning environments, digital signage, event spaces, and campus-wide media initiatives.
What You Will Do
Lead Technology Projects That Shape Campus Experiences
You will oversee and execute projects that create and enhance technology-enabled spaces across campus, including classrooms, meeting environments, and event venues. Responsibilities include:
Leading implementation and refresh projects for traditional and hyflex learning environmentsÂ
Managing installation efforts from planning through deployment and completionÂ
Coordinating vendors, integration partners, contractors, and campus stakeholdersÂ
Maintaining project documentation, reporting metrics, and tracking outcomesÂ
Developing user training and instructional programs to ensure successful adoptionÂ
Driving communication and accountability across project teamsÂ
Design and Advance Innovative Technology Solutions
You will research emerging technologies and help define the future direction of media and A/V services by:
Recommending and designing next-generation classroom and collaboration technologiesÂ
Supporting media computing, presentation systems, sound reinforcement, and video servicesÂ
Programming and configuring control systems and integrated technologiesÂ
Serving as a consultant and technology advisor for campus initiativesÂ
Supporting sustainability efforts, technology lifecycle planning, digital signage, and hospitality-related initiativesÂ
Provide Technical Leadership and Mentor Others
You will act as a senior escalation point and guide the operational excellence of media services by:
Leading resolution of advanced media and A/V incidents and escalationsÂ
Performing expert troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, and quality assuranceÂ
Improving support workflows and escalation processesÂ
Coaching and mentoring junior staff, student employees, and contracted resourcesÂ
Helping build a collaborative, service-focused team cultureÂ
What Makes You Successful
You are equally comfortable leading a project meeting, programming technology systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and mentoring colleagues. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on expertise.
Ideal candidates possess:
Strong project management and organizational skillsÂ
Deep knowledge of digital and analog signal flowÂ
Experience with hyflex technologies and traditional A/V environmentsÂ
Expertise in audio systems, DSP technologies, and control system programmingÂ
Strong communication and relationship-building abilitiesÂ
The ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing prioritiesÂ
Demonstrated experience leading complex technology projectsÂ
Strong communication and presentation skillsÂ
Ability to independently establish priorities and make recommendationsÂ
Preferred:
AVIXA CTS certificationÂ
Extron ECS certificationÂ
Extron EDSP certificationÂ
Hands-on installation and systems integration experienceÂ
Knowledge of building and construction codesÂ
Experience supervising vendors or mentoring junior staff
