We have an exciting opportunity for a GIO Analyst located in Pittsburgh, PA.
What You’ll Do
As a GIO Analyst, you will support, analyze, and maintain investment and portfolio information that is critical to the operations of the firm. The GIO Analyst supports day to day, timely delivery of high-quality information to all investment professionals, clients and contacts. With the necessary supervision, the analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, calculating and reporting information which is assigned to the operational specialized teams. This position Interacts daily with Investment Management professionals, trading, external clients and contacts, vendors or service providers, as required.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree or in lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and professional and/or military experience may be considered. Bachelor’s degree in business or related major preferred.
- Up to 3 years of business or systems experience, or equivalent, i.e. back-office or middle- office operations.
- Ensure that cash and positions across all accounts and products are reconciled accurately.
- Implement and monitor reconciliation processes to ensure that standards established by internal and external auditors.
- Perform reconciliations and monitoring and resolving exceptions.
- Conduct daily reconciliation of transactions across all portfolios and applications.
- Ensure all positions are accurate and reconciled with custodians, record keepers and other external parties.
