JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
This role is responsible for working with multiple clients and communities in coordinating strict compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by the state and local regulatory agencies as it relates to Affordable Housing.

This position will support the Los Angeles region.
Travel: Position will support various properties throughout Los Angeles and travel to those properties will be required. Length of time at each location will vary depending on support needed. *Eligible for mileage reimbursement if assignment is less than 2 weeks.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Basic knowledge surrounding Affordable Housing processes required. Experience working in property management, retail, hospitality, or related industry strongly preferred. 2+ years of Affordable Housing experience preferred but not required.
⢠Reviews, monitors, and ensures property compliance with all Affordable Housing Programs reporting and regulations. Works closely with Community Managers and Assistant Community Managers in the preparation and distribution of compliance reports to various local governmental agencies. Provides guidance, training, and support as necessary to ensure properties are set up for success.
⢠Monitors and maintains property waitlists in coordination with site staff. Follows all appropriate program and fair housing rules.
⢠Prepares and manages applicant/resident correspondence and documentation and identifies and resolves eligibility discrepancies.
⢠Conducts property file audits and reviews property procedures surrounding local and state housing programs. Identifies audit findings, corrects any non-compliance, and communicates those findings and resolutions to Clients and Community Managers.
⢠Monitors income limits and utility allowances in coordination with 3rd party compliance partners. Assists Community Managers to complete and process income and asset verifications, rent calculations, and household certifications.
⢠Reviews and monitors changes in regulatory and reporting provisions of local agencies, e.g. TCAC and HUD, etc. Disseminates this information to the Community Manager.
⢠Coordinates with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Public Housing Agencies (PHAs), state housing finance agencies and other regulatory agencies.

The hourly range for this position is $28.00 to $32.00 (Los Angeles, CA)
Additional Compensation:
- Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
- Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
