JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Manager, Information Security is responsible for executing the strategic direction as assigned for the Global Information Security Identity and Access Management program. Designs, Implements, and Manages enterprise IAM technology to avoid breach of confidential information by ensuring security measures, data management requirements, planning, implementing, testing, aligning with security policies, procedures, and industry standards. Also accountable for ongoing activities to preserve the availability, integrity and confidentiality of Greystar and customer information in compliance with applicable information security laws, policies, and standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide oversight of the information security controls and procedures focused on IAM, user training, compliance, and applicable security incident response, and documentation of procedures as appropriate.
- Provide oversight and SME input to the design, build and implementation and management of technology tools that support the IAM strategy, objectives, and operational requirements.
- Oversight and maintenance of the IAM systems disaster recovery and business continuity plan, network security, system and software architecture and design to ensure that information is secured during all lifecycle phases.
- Drive business collaboration and adoption of the IAM tool, ensuring the business is trained and BAU processes are in place to enable efficient operation.
- Monitor the use and effectiveness of the IAM tool and ensure a consistent process of improvement is in place to address risk working closely with the ISO and others to preempt, mitigate, and swiftly respond to any issues or audit findings that require action.
- Take ownership and manage IAM tool configuration, ensuring appropriate governance and change control processes are followed. Provide hands on management and support for additional security systems as assigned.
- Input to the setting of the Information Security Strategy, ensuring the approach supports delivery.
- Review, challenge and ensure the IAM approach supports the requirements of the related Global Standards and controls and Provide SME input to projects regarding IAM. Drive and support change to the organization's Information and Cybersecurity Program. Work closely with the Information Security Officer to establish priorities and ensure organizational adherence to information security policy and processes.
Knowledge:
- A detailed understanding of IAM technology from both management and strategic levels and hands on technical design and implementation.
- Experience with tools such as Saviynt, SailPoint, and other IAM tools.
- An understanding of best practice within Information Security standards including NIST CST.
- Understanding of legislation regulations that impact information security E.G., GDPR.
- Understanding of security threats and countermeasures.
- Practical knowledge of security technologies and business solutions specifically Identity and Access Management, and cloud security.
- Understanding of working with third-parties and cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP Certification (or commensurate experience) is recommended.
- CRISC Certification (or commensurate experience) is recommended.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
