Salary Details:
Salary ranges reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

What You'll Do
We’re looking for a Managing Director to join our Capital Raising team in Principal Real Estate. In this role, your core focus will be to drive institutional asset raising activities for the firm’s closed end and open-end equity and debt funds!
Develop deep, strategic, and enduring relationships with Limited Partner and investment consultants in North America.
Provide clients, prospects, and consultants with ongoing updates about the investment philosophy, process and performance of real estate funds and platforms and act as primary contact when appropriate
Participate in investment strategy meetings with portfolio managers
Assist in product development process, both new and existing
Play key role in new business efforts including finals presentations and consultant meetings

Who You Are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
10+ years related experience in real estate investment management
10+ years of fundraising experience
Experience in and very knowledgeable of real estate as an asset class as well as established relationships with a spectrum of investors and consultants
Proven sales experience and pipeline development
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to build strong relationships
Must have the ability to travel, approximating 50% of the time
Series 7 & 63, Life Insurance certification required within 90 days of employment
This position may be subject to SEC restrictions on personal political contributions.
