eNGINE is hiring a Financial Data Analyst to support our client in the investment management and banking industry out of Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset leveraging tools such as SQL and Python to analyze and interpret financial data, as well as relating it to potential business trends and issues. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
• Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
• Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
• Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar field
• Strong understanding of data lineage is needed
• Advanced knowledge of SQL is needed
• Proficiency with ETL tools (Alteryx) is strongly preferred
