Our client has an immediate need for an Eagle Developer - Lead Application Specialist, who will be responsible for working to support the overall Eagle ecosystem, from both a project and daily support perspective

Requirements:

• Experience working on at least one Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platform e.g. Eagle Star, Eagle Pace
• 7 years of team-oriented development experience in a relational database environment
• 5 years of programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL
• Experience with Linux shell scripting / PERL scripting
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, .NET) within Financial Services
• Prior experience with job scheduling with BMC Control-M or equivalent (Cron, Tivoli, Autosys)
• Experience with middleware packages including IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker or equivalent (BizTalk)
• Experience with Agile software development, Scrum, and Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for managing code and user stories
• Experience in the buy-side Investment Management Industry and major data domains including Equity, Fixed-Income, Security Master, Positions & Lots, Trades, Corporate Actions, Prices/FX Rates, Cash, Benchmarks
• Knowledge of Investment Management systems (Eagle, Charles River, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing solutions in the Eagle Access space, primarily focused on data imports and extracts
• Assisting with preparing estimates for design, coding, and testing
• Designing, writing, modifying, and testing solutions to meet business and functional requirements.
• Adhering to departmental Software Development Life Cycle standards
• Performing incident management and triage
• 2^nd and 3^rd level on-call support on a rotational basis
