Overview: The Vice President, Counsel provides strategic legal counsel and support for asset management and underwriting initiatives in the North America region. Specifically, the Vice President will help oversee the acquisition, financing, asset management, and disposition of commercial real estate assets. The Vice President will also assist with individual investment structuring (joint venture, tax and corporate) and transactional special projects.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Location: Dallas, TX.

Relocation: Local candidates are desired, but relocation is an option for exceptional candidates.

Experience: 7-12 years of work experience practicing real estate, real estate finance and general corporate law with a well-known private law firm or in-house legal department preferably with experience in private equity. Juris Doctorate (J.D.) required, Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is desired.
