Job Description:
At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Trust Support Administrator will oversee the administration of Individually Managed Accounts (IMA), Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA), custody, trust, and estate, ensuring account administration follows the fiduciary program and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Conducts Annual Administrative and Compliance Reviews for clients in conjunction with the assigned Trust Advisor
Supplies Portfolio Manager with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews
Leads the investment review exceptions process
Remains abreast with industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment management
Oversees the account opening process for all new Investment Management and Trust (IM&T) business
Facilitates the non-discretionary distribution process, communicating with Trust Advisors when necessary
Facilitates the discretionary distribution process with approval authority of $25,000 or less, communicating with Trust Advisors when necessary
Handles annual tax coordination, fee set up, and daily cash management
Supports Trust Advisors' retention and expansion of trust and investment management clients
Takes responsibility for ensuring all accounts comply with applicable internal programs and procedures
May take responsibility for smaller, less complex IMA, IRA, custody, and trust accounts
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field and three (3) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, or related experience
OR High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years of Trust Administration, Estate/Tax Law, Financial Planning, or related experience
Proven knowledge of risk management and fiduciary principles and processes
Preferences
Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM/Estates), or Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Accredited Investment Fiduciary
Skills and Competencies
Ability to create successful partnerships with Trust Advisors and other key team members
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong record-keeping skills
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
