About the Office of Investment Management
Our five-person team (three in investments, two in operations) invests and manages the $1.2 billion Endowment and are supervised by a nine-person investment committee whose members have significant investment experience.
Brandeis maintains long-term relationships with many of the worldâ™s most successful investment firms across asset classes. Brandeis partners with over 30 fund managers whose expertise covers a wide spectrum of investment styles and strategies. Over the past ten years, the investment office has achieved strong annualized returns.
The office is located off-campus in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. The office operates on a hybrid schedule, with three in-person days (Tuesday-Thursday), and optional remote work days on Monday and Friday. About the Position
The Investment Analyst will report to the Interim Chief Investment Officer. The Investment Analyst will work with the entire team across both the investment and operational sides of the endowment. The Investment Analyst will provide support in conducting investment research and making recommendations as they (i) oversee and manage existing investment partners, (ii) look for new investment partners, and (iii) conduct primary fundamental research on key economic and investment themes. The Investment Analyst will also support the Interim CIO with (i) risk management and portfolio construction analysis, and (ii) ad hoc portfolio and market analyses. The Investment Analyst will gain experience across both public and private asset classes.

For highly experienced candidates, there is a possibility of hiring at a Sr. Investment Analyst level.
Position Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have most of the following attributes:
a bachelorâ™s degree with coursework demonstrating a quantitative proficiency
demonstrable strong interest in learning the investment management business
strong intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and fact-based approach to analysis
strong analytical and organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
self-motivated with the ability to work independently and be capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously
excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
