GLOBAL INVESTOR, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), to join a team of peers with a shared mandate--to seek out, partner with, and learn from the world's best investors, with the goal of allocating MIT's capital to the most compelling public and private investment opportunities available globally. MITIMCo employs a generalist model and does not use titles, which aligns with its philosophy of group responsibility (successes and failures are borne as a team) and voices being weighed equally. As an investor in third-party investment firms, the global investor's role will extend to evaluating both the people who run them and the assets they own. Will sit on MITIMCo's internal investment committee and formulate and voice independent opinions, regardless of experience or tenure. While there are some consistent elements of the day-to-day work (travel, learning about new business models, writing investment proposals, negotiating investment partnerships, and debating how much capital to invest in them, etc.), staff members are encouraged to think expansively about how best to spend their time in support of MITIMCo's mission.
Full descriptions of MITIMCo positions are available here.
