Federated Hermes is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to work collaboratively with Business, Business Analysts and Development staff to review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. This position is in our Warrendale, Pa office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
What You Can Expect:
- Identifying test requirements from specifications, mapping test case requirements and designing test coverage plans.
- Participating in preparing the test strategy and end to end test plans.
- Conducting test strategy and test plan review sessions.
- Executing and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected.
- Ensuring solutions are tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility.
- Monitoring the test coverage and identifying coverage gaps.
- Identifying and facilitating test data acquisition. Monitoring the test progress against the schedule.
- Developing “go to green” plans, as needed.
- Creating and publishing test execution reports.
- Monitoring and reporting defects.
- Conducting test result walk thru sessions with the Business teams.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field; or in lieu of degree 3 to 5 years of software quality assurance experience
- Knowledge of SDLC (System or Software Development Life Cycle required
- Demonstrated ability to quickly trouble-shoot common software failure and faults required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
