The Investment Office has responsibility for investing the endowments for the university, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and other related endowed entities among many other assets, totaling more than $8 billion. Johns Hopkins University was founded in 1876 and is one of the world's premier teaching and research institutions with nearly 22,000 students across nine academic divisions. We are seeking an Analyst of Investment & Risk Analytics (Investment Operations Analyst). This position reports to the Managing Director, Investment Operations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Play an integral role in the Investment Office providing portfolio level and position level analysis, reporting, data and information to support the portfolio
- Assist with strategy and manager investment research agenda, discussions and investment decision-making processes
- Leverage quantitative skills to develop data driven analysis and models to support portfolio decision making
Minimum Qualifications (Mandatory):
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year work experience
- A Master's Degree and course work in Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, or similar fields is strongly preferred

Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including modeling
- VBA experience is preferred
- Excellent skills in at least one of the modern programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R
- Experience working with data and data visualization in various forms (SQL database, spreadsheets, unstructured data environments, Power BI, Tableau)

This may include documentation of having two (2) MMR vaccines; two (2) Varicella vaccines; or antibody status to these diseases from laboratory testing.
