Responsible for providing support to the Chief Investment Officer who oversees the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the Endowment. The team is responsible for recommending asset allocation policy changes; selecting, monitoring and terminating investment managers; identifying investment opportunities; measuring performance of individual managers, asset categories and the total portfolio; reporting performance to the Investment Subcommittee; and for meeting regularly with investment managers to review results, exposures and activity. 1. Portfolio and Investment oversight of one or more asset classes
*Responsible for assisting in the selection, evaluation and monitoring of external Investment Managers and passive positions
*Expected to source new Investment Managers and opportunities to improve the performance of one or more asset classes
*Acquire data and reports needed to perform various analytics; this includes both at the asset class and individual investment position levels
*Make recommendations for portfolio construction of one or more asset classes
2. Develop and maintain external relationships
*Establish relationships with Investment Managers, intermediaries and peers at similar institutions
*Help further expand Lehigh's brand in the investment community
*Attend manager meetings and industry events to expand networks
3. Contribute to other areas related to the Investment Office's management
*Contribute to discussions and analysis of the total portfolio's asset allocation; provide individual perspectives and thoughts on potential shifts within the portfolio across asset classes given the backdrop of different market environments
*Present and produce materials to lead discussions with the Investment Subcommittee
*Manage other team members including Investment Analysts, interns, wage employees and/or volunteers; this includes providing internal leadership and mentor-ship to other team members to help with their professional development
*Lead ad hoc projects to improve internal processes and systems
*Work with on campus groups, including students, faculty and staff

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field
Requires 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience in the area of asset management
Prior work experience at an endowment, foundation or family office
Strong organizational, analytical & interpersonal skills
Experience collaborating and communicating with internal and external partners to build strategic relationships
Solid computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet and database software
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
