The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic, highly successful and energetic team of analysts and portfolio managers. The team manages greater than $4 billion in assets, across multiple investment disciplines and styles within the value income category.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field required; Working towards MBA/CFA preferred
- Prior experience in the financial services industry or investment research is preferred.
- Working Knowledge or experience analyzing Communication Services or Technology industries is valued.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial modeling, valuation and financial statements required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent research knowledge, analysis and decision-making skills required
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required and working knowledge of Bloomberg and FactSet preferred
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Initiate, perform and maintain utilizing the team’s established investment process to perform fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies to assess suitability of stocks for inclusion in the portfolios. The investment analysis will include financial statement analysis, financial modeling, competitor analysis as well as assessment of industry, regulatory and macroeconomic trends
- Utilize fundamental analysis to formulate investment ideas and clearly articulate to the portfolio managers, on a timely basis. This includes generating and diligently communicating value-added buy, sell and hold recommendations on individual securities and other relevant information to the portfolio managers
- Independently and diligently seek equity research and remain apprised of company and industry trends. Sources include, but are not limited to, industry publications, public documents, annual reports, trade journals, interviews with management teams, working with sell-side research analysts and reviewing financial statements and earnings transcripts. Channel checks, attendance at industry trade shows, networking with industry competitors, clients and suppliers should be utilized
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all research performed
- Proactively participates in all research meetings
- Travel is required
