Federated Hermes Summer Internship Program provides students the opportunity to gain “hands on” experience and develop professional skills as well as the ability to network with talented professionals and gain insight into career possibilities within the asset management industry. The program includes a variety of events designed to enhance the internship experience, provide participants with information about Federated Hermes and foster collaboration among their cohort.
Purpose of the Internship:
Communicate the value proposition of FHI and its products to clients worldwide through content across a variety of formats and channels. You will work on marketing initiatives that include campaigns and digital experiences and help ensure FHI and our investment strategies and products have consistent, engaging narratives.
Major Duties:
- Project manage content production, such as product or franchise one-pagers
- Post collateral on the website, including appropriate SEO keywords, audience restrictions and hypertext
- Distribute and amplify content to sales
- Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Project Management on broader marketing efforts
- Create visuals and illustrations for marketing collateral
- Track audience engagement statistics (web, email and other interactions)
- Conduct product, industry and audience research
Hours/location:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. during the summer
- The internship is full-time during the summer working 37.5 hours/week and part-time during the school year working 15-20 hours/week. Schedule can be flexible based on student’s schedule.

Position Specifications:
- In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, journalism or related field required
- One to two years communications experience through internships or course work required
- Experience with Microsoft Office: WORD, EXCEL and POWER POINT required
- Interest in mutual funds industry
