Network Partner Engagement Manager (EM)Engagement Managers play a critical innovation strategy role advancing Deloitte's US Consulting-wide New Business Growth Agenda. EMs translate growth strategies into action, leveraging the capabilities of NBI and serving as the integration point to help achieve those goals. The role collaborates with teams across New Business Innovation (NBI) - Deloitte Consulting's corporate innovation function focused on driving growth - and the Innovation and Asset Leaders (IALs) representing each Offering Portfolio and Industry to drive innovation investment, activate ecosystem strategy, challenge traditional structures, and develop the capabilities needed to reach our growth goals. As a key member of the team shaping and developing NBI's relationships within the business, the EM will be at the center of transforming Deloitte's traditional Consulting business model.
In direct collaboration with Consulting's Chief Innovation Officer, the EM will develop and manage tailored engagement and support strategies at the convergence of IAL networks. The EM will develop and maintain deep understanding of IAL business context, key investments in their portfolio and NBI capabilities and services. The role will use this knowledge and its unique visibility across networks to serve as a convener, way-finder and advisor to leadership as they incubate and build businesses, following an investment strategy and development path modeled on venture capital practices.
In collaboration with other Engagement Managers on the team, this individual will also play two key roles that will accelerate Deloitte's overall hybrid transformation:
- Moving the 'Big Rocks' - Sensing and identifying the big, shared issues that must be addressed at a cross-consulting level to support hybrid businesses, facilitating the development of recommendations/solutions for those issues and orchestrating efforts to make change within Deloitte
- Working Smarter, Not Harder - Identifying, codifying and activating learnings and best in class thinking across the full network so they benefit from one another's experiences
To achieve these ambitions, EMs will shape and drive sprint projects with diverse teams from across Consulting.
If you want to work at the top of the house - this role is your chance. EMs work directly with the most senior leaders driving innovation strategy and new ventures for our Consulting practice - the Chief Innovation Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Business Architect, Chief Data Officer, SGO Leaders, OP/Industry Leaders and their respective IALs.
Work You'll Do:As an Engagement Manager, you have the ability to shape how Deloitte innovates, working directly with the key leaders responsible for building net new businesses. In this role, you will:

- Support the design and facilitation of IAL meetings, which range from ad hoc (in order to address specific issues) to quarterly in-person working sessions. Includes managing prework, follow up, feedback and insight elicitation with IALs
- Act as a single point of contact to drive forward requests from the network for NBI consultations/ advisory discussions (through direct problem solving and through orchestration of the broader NBI team)
- Maintain visibility into key OP/Industry touchpoints across NBI, partnering across NBI to drive a consistent, seamless experience
- Serve as a way finder for the IALs and key members of their networks, assisting them in understanding 'where and who to go to for what' across NBI - creating a customer-centric experience for I&ALs in order to promote and further the success of their asset/hybrid business portfolios
- Serve as the 'voice of the network' to NBI leadership, providing input to strategy, building our shared innovation agenda, and filtering asks of the broader network to ensure we focus our collaboration on the most critical issues at hand
- Solicit, codify and share 'leading practices' as seen across Networks for managing a portfolio within NBI; help IAL teams tap into the relevant experience of others
- Conceptualize, scope and drive project initiatives in support of the Shared IAL/NBI Agenda
- Collaborate deeply with 2 other Engagement Managers and their teams to drive knowledge sharing and connectivity across the full spectrum of Offering Portfolios and Industries
