Prescott Group seeks an experienced professional to join the Capital Raising and Investor Relations team. Prescott Group is a diversified, vertically integrated real estate investment, debt resolution and asset management firm. Prescott Group is comprised of Prescott Realty Group, a full-service real estate operating company, specializing in commercial developments and redevelopment projects, Prescott Advisors, LLC the investment advisor to the Fund, and Dyck O'Neal Inc., a nationwide purchaser and servicer of real estate loans.
The associate will have the opportunity to support existing and prospective investor relationships by focusing on enhancing client engagement, assisting in managing the fundraising process for real estate private equity funds, interacting with investors through on-going and initial diligence efforts and work closely on managing fund and co-investment closings. The candidate should have prior real estate experience, comfort researching and writing about real estate trends, be detail-oriented, analytical and a self-starter.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, review, and disseminate approved marketing material such as pitchbooks for new business initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- Assist in managing the fundraising process for new vehicles, including helping the team identify new targets and processing lead generation and tracking.
- Assist in responding to new and existing investor questions, issues, inquiries, and concerns.
- Track investor opportunities and outreach in Deal Cloud, create summary reports for senior management.
- Assist in preparation and review of fund documents (Private Placement Memorandum, Limited Partner Agreement, etc.)
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management to perform portfolio analytics and benchmarking, Due Diligence Questionnaires, Requests for Proposals, and various ad-hoc requests to current and potential limited partners.
- Conduct industry research for presentations and help author/edit white papers and editorial content.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (business or finance preferred), 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
- Knowledge of real estate investments and financial modeling, experience with real estate research and writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
- Experience in DealCloud or similar CRMs a plus
- Excellent analytical, financial, and quantitative skills, with highest level of attention to detail
- Superior oral/written communication skills, prior plus investor relations experience a plus
