Overview: T. Rowe Price seeks an experienced ERISA attorney to join its established and growing legal department. The Managing Counsel for Retirement Investments will be responsible for helping a leading investment management firm create, implement and maintain investment products and experiences for retirement plans and those individuals who invest through them. The attorney will report to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel but will work under minimal supervision to provide specialized, expert legal counsel to multiple businesses and functional areas in conjunction with some of the industry’s top professionals. The Managing Legal Counsel will be viewed as a trusted internal resource capable of using knowledge of the organization's businesses, products, services, and strategies to articulate and advance complex legal positions.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.

Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience as a practicing attorney in a law firm or asset management organization. The successful candidate will have a depth of understanding of employee benefits law (including Title I of ERISA); ERISA fiduciary duties; prohibited transactions; collective trust investments; and separate accounts.
