Portfolio Construction Analyst
Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
Federated Hermes is seeking a Portfolio Construction Analyst to work in conjunction with senior staff in the Portfolio Construction Solutions department to handle the preparation and conduct research for client portfolio analysis and consultations. The successful candidate will leverage a subject matter proficiency in the following areas: Fin-tech software and applications, quantitative analytics, investment product research, data visualization, and business intelligence reporting to generate flows into Federated Hermes funds.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Collaborate with team members in fielding analytical requests centered around multi-asset class portfolios, investment products, asset allocation, manager research, and thematic analysis
- Support team in performing forensic analysis and prove strategies as to the application, interpretation, and efficacy of risk measurement metrics in client-facing opportunities.
- Support investment research efforts and strategies centered around manager selection and asset class surveillance
- Develop a personalized research process that involves screening managers on qualitative and quantitative criteria
- Partner, support, or lead Advance Analytics and Business Intelligence projects including aggregation of client data to quantify utilization trends of asset classes and competitor products
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
- Have accomplished, or be in pursuit of, an advanced degree or industry designation
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry required
- Proficiency with risk and analytical software (Hidden Levers and Morningstar)
- Must possess/obtain FINRA Series 7 and 66
