Department:
The MIM Change Management team manages strategic projects and systems in partnership with the front office and IT. The team consists of project managers and business analysts who have asset class and systems expertise.
Role:
This role serves as Business Product Owner and Project Lead for Private Capital processes and systems in support of both the General Account and Investment Management. This leadership role is responsible for managing large, complex projects across diverse processes and a broad set of business and IT stakeholders.

- Business Processes: asset origination, credit management, portfolio management and analytics
- Portfolios: MetLife Affiliated Insurance Companies, Separate Accounts and Funds

Key Relationships:
- Reports to: Vice President, Head of Change Management Real Estate and Private Assets
- Direct reports/team: n/a
- Key Stakeholders: Front Office teams, Operations, Finance and IT
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and enhancement of key systems used by Private Capital
- Serve as Product Owner for key Private Capital systems, e.g., Allvue
- Refine roadmap to build out Private Capital business platform/systems
- Lead end-to-end business analysis and design new processes that help achieve business goals
- Leverage new technologies (e.g., AI) to increase organizational efficiencies and effectiveness
- Champion strategic projects/business solutions (including third-party software/services) in partnership with business teams and IT
- Drive decision-making and advancement of initiatives across business, IT teams and vendors
- Manage third-party vendors and resources
- Manage project communications, detailed project plans (including test plans) and associated risks.
- Manage a combination of resources (contractor, GOSC and MetLife FTEs) often in a matrix organization to deliver results
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 15+ years of project management experience with proven ability to successfully manage complex projects
- 15+ years of business analysis experience and proven success at leading business system design initiatives
- 15+ years of information technology experience within the financial services sector
- Agile Methodology Experience
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Private Capital systems
- Knowledge of private capital investments business (e.g., deal origination, credit management, investment management) and Finance business knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, finance, accounting, technology or a related discipline
- Master's degree in information management, Business Administration or Finance
- PMP and/or CBAP Certification(s)
