This role will be part of the WIM Analytics team. The WIM Analytics team is a part of the WIM Data and Business Solutions group within the WIM Chief Administrative office, and supports all WIM businesses and functions. The team provides data, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics that helps to develop strategy, manage risk, inform decision making, and drive better client outcomes. This role will be dedicated to supporting WIM Investment Solutions. The qualified candidate will be responsible for working partnering with business leaders and analytic partners to develop actionable insights and reporting for the Investment Solutions organization. They will:
Utilize a strong technical and analytical skillset (SAS, SQL, R, Python) to navigate multiple databases in order to extract the data necessary to perform complex analyses.
Create end-to-end analysis (data or statistical) from data extraction to end-state manifestations, whether in a business intelligence solution or PowerPoint presentation.
Interactand effectively communicates with a variety of technical and non-technical team members to ultimately provide insightful analysis and convey findings in a clear and succinct manner.
Build strong relationships with business leaders through proactive communication, taking time to understand business needs while providing a consultative, analytical and punctual approach to problem solving.
Influence opinions of others and drives what is best for the business.
This role will contribute to analytic problem solving and solution development through the use of SQL platforms (including Teradata, Oracle, and MS SQL Server) as well as BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI. Strong experience in data wrangling from sources like Teradata and Oracle will be important skills for this role.
5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
