ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT , MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo)-Investment Operations (IO) , to sit at the intersection of administrative and operational functions and provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to all members of the Investment Operations (IO) team, while interacting and collaborating with other operational, investment management, and real estate development professionals. Will demonstrate accountability and ownership of work and respond to and resolve all work requirements, requests for assistance, and processing issues in a timely, effective, and accurate manner.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : high school diploma or its equivalent; at least five years' administrative experience; desire to learn about investment operations and financial instruments; comfort suggesting and implementing improvements and refinements to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team and ability to follow through on them; excellent computer skills, including fluency with Outlook (email/calendars), PowerPoint, Word, Excel; meticulous attention to detail; strong analytical, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills; ability to evaluate, synthesize, and communicate information clearly; and discretion and judgment with confidential information/issues. Seek an organized and proactive individual who is able to take initiative and work independently; set priorities and juggle multiple activities at once, often working under pressure and with frequent interruptions; and resolve complex problems in a thorough and timely manner, determining the appropriate course of action with minimal supervision.
