Capital's Europe and Asia Client Group (EACG) is embarking on the implementation of its Long-term Strategy which was approved by the Capital Group Management Committee in 2020. We are looking to build long-term partnerships with the largest and global Financial Intermediaries (GFIs) as a key pillar of our growth plan.
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic junior salesperson (Business Development Associate) to join our Global Financial Intermediaries business development team and contribute to our strategic goal of building long-term partnerships with GFIs.
The successful applicant will work with the Business Development Managers and Business Development Associates responsible for developing Capital's GFI business across Europe and Asia. The role will include regular tasks such as account planning, meeting preparation and follow-ups and reporting, as well as projects designed to improve Capital's relationships with the GFIs and increase Capital's market share with these key firms.
Partners with GFI client facing teams to plan and coordinate the launch/deployment of sales initiatives; develops project plans and/or engagement tracking for product launches, and assists teams with documenting messaging, pre/post launch activities and sales reporting; gathers approvals as needed.
Develops GFI dashboards, reports for senior leadership, and deliverables to support client engagements (executive briefs, pitchbooks.). Identifies gaps or opportunities for enhancements and partners with reporting groups to address changes.
Develops account plans for Capital's target GFIs and coordinates all aspects of the plan.
Creates specialized reporting, pulling data from a variety of sources, showing firm assets, sales, redemptions, progress, market share and share of wallet; shares data for broader review. Gathers and analyses key firm data and works with reporting teams/systems to create these GFI reports.
Prepares the Business Development Managers for meetings with GFI firms and, over time, actively particpates in client-facing meetings.
