The Investment Office, based in NYC, manages the Long-Term Portfolio and is seeking to hire an Investment Analyst. The Investment Analyst provides support to the Chief Investment Officer and senior investment professionals who oversee the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the Long-Term Portfolio. Day-to-day responsibilities focus on: Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of the Long-Term Portfolio including performance, new and existing investments, and underlying exposures Supporting the team in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring investment managers Drafting investment memos and meeting notes. Work on thematic investment research projects Preparing and presenting material for Investment Subcommittee meetings Grade: 11-40 Position Number: S Special Considerations This position is expected to work remotely while the NYC office remains closed due to COVID-19: in the future this position may have the ability to work both from home and in the office as deemed appropriate by their supervisor Qualifications Minimum of one to three years of finance experience in investment management, accounting, investment banking, or a related field Strong quantitative and analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Basic Bloomberg skills and ability to learn new software programs Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. High level of integrity, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity Desire to work in a small team environment that encourages collaboration Able to work occasional evenings, holidays or weekends Bachelor’s Degree, Finance or related field Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
