Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT) is a customer-focused organization that delivers the next generation of payments capabilities; advances digital offerings; enables innovation to develop new customer experiences and products; and enhances digital channels, branches, contact centers, and ATM technologies.
The Business Services Portfolio Team within CSBBT is seeking a senior technology leader to provide technology investment oversight for our portfolio of $500MM+ of technology capacity. This individual will be responsible for leadership of cross functional/virtual teams across technology, business and finance to produce the annual plan, including technology estimation of new business demand, and provide leadership to technology portfolio managers executing against the approved plan throughout the year. While not a project management role, familiarity with project portfolio management processes including portfolio ideation, project prioritization & selection and initiation is beneficial. Additionally, a background in technology portfolio management including managing the full book of work (including non-project demand) and experience with agile portfolio planning is desired.
Responsibilities include: - Responsible for demand and capacity planning across all CSBBT domains which covers 4,000+ global resources. - Lead CSBBT through the company wide annual planning process to assess technology initiative demand and to align with CSBBT capacity and budget. - Closely work with LOB executives and strategic planning leaders on upcoming book of work ensuring technology is aligned to the highest value demand. - Work closely with Finance and Office of Head of Technology organizations around defining usage of demand and capacity planning tools. Ensure effective understanding and usage of tools across the CSBBT organization. - Provide reporting and insights throughout the year needed by CSBBT Senior Leadership and domain leaders to adjust to changing conditions throughout the year relating to demand and capacity. - Coordinate with other technology organizations around the initiation of new efforts that span multiple groups. - Work closely with the project delivery organizations to hand off new projects from initiation to execution. - Provide leadership around the incorporation of agile portfolio planning practices into technology planning and investment management practices for CSBBT.

Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to drive and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
Ability to effectively partner and influence at the executive level
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Project) skills
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
Strong relationship management skills
Other Desired Qualifications
Diverse technology background in two or more backgrounds: agile portfolio management, technology estimation, program management, application portfolio management or technology strategic planning
Knowledge and understanding of technology project management: large, cross platform projects and programs
Experience providing leadership and/or managing a geographically dispersed team
Proven abilities in financial planning and budgeting
Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and levels verbally, in written format and through presentations
Financial Services experience is strongly preferred
Ability to work additional hours as needed
