This position supports the Private Wealth Management Operations (PWM Ops) within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) and is responsible for evaluating and leading large scale projects and initiatives. This role will partner closely with senior leaders within PWM Ops and multiple business sponsors and the technical organization, acting as a liaison between the groups. This leader will contribute to Wells Fargo's transformation by doing what's right, doing it well, and leading with an enterprise mindset. This individual contributor role will plan, conduct and direct analysis of complex, strategic, or high visibility initiatives as well as provide work direction and serve as a mentor to less experienced Business Systems Consultants assigned to these initiatives.
This position will initially lead a large and complex pricing initiative. The person must take the initiative to understand dynamics of the effort, key stakeholders and impacted business processes, and be able to propose potential solutions to address business goals or issues.
Key responsibilities include:
Understand the business need and identify impact to stakeholders, processes and systems
Provide work direction, leadership and guidance to a BA team responsible for analyzing, eliciting and documenting business requirements or acceptance criteria, documenting test plans/scripts and executing testing
Drive requirements elicitation process and document all project requirements
Identify, analyze and manage risks, issues and interdependencies, escalating as necessary and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines
Assist with managing resource capacity and project work assignments
Act as escalation contact for resolving complex issues
Track deliverables and report on deliverable status
Ensure best practices and standards are being followed
Operate with a relentless risk emphasis, focusing on proactive eradication of risk at the source
Champion diversity & inclusion
7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both demonstrated through work or military experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge and understanding of wealth and investment management
Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
Experience communicating and presenting complex information to multiple levels of the organization
Leadership experience including; coaching, training, and mentoring
Other Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of agile methodology and SDLC lifecycle
Knowledge of securities processing, accounting and/or financial services operation experience
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
