The Communications & Media Manager would be dedicated to one of the GWS accounts. The essential duties and responsibilities include:
Develop and implement a strategic account communications plan to effectively manage information flows across all pertinent audiences and stakeholders. The communication plan should enhance the efficient delivery of services in order to produce excellent client outcomes.
Produce client communications to report progress against such topics as key metrics, project activity, risk management, budget control, customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and other state-of-the-portfolio updates. Examples: monthly/quarterly business reviews, SET meetings, reports, dashboards, annual report, special presentations, etc.
Support the delivery and/or presentation of research reports, white papers, educations forums, or other thought leadership channels that keep the client up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices.
Manage account employee communication channels to keep CBRE employees informed and focused on appropriate priorities and to enhance employee satisfaction. Examples: email announcements, newsletters, presentations, town halls, dashboards, reports, recognition programs, surveys, training, etc.
Maintain a current library of resources (SharePoint-based) for use by the account team to enhance efficiency and consistency (templates, org charts, contact lists, presentations, training, best practices, etc.).
Serve as corporate liaison with CBRE corporate offices to import and export best practices, support RFPs/cross selling efforts, facilitate knowledge sharing, ensure proper branding, etc.
Provide support to the account leadership team as needed (e.g., account reviews, team communications, client presentations, event management, etc.).
Work with the account leaders to develop and launch new tools and programs as appropriate for the account (e.g., site collections, pulse surveys, online tools, employee engagement programs, etc.)
Stay up-to-date on new technology and resources and bring ideas to the leadership team to make account improvements.
Research and provide analysis of internal and external industry benchmarking, best practices, and trends.
Coordinate activities of support staff as needed.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of four to six years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents and distill into appropriate messages for distinct audiences. Demonstrated writing/editing skills across multiple media. Strong verbal communications skills and ability to effectively interface with internal and external clients. Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. Strong ability to integrate graphics design and effectively develop presentations on general topics to an internal department, large group of employees, clients, and/or management. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management. Ability to motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.
Requires strong overall business acumen and working knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures and conduct financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in varying situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Extensive knowledge of desktop, graphics, and presentation software. Ability to grasp new applications quickly; able to act as SharePoint or extranet site administrator.
