Primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to focusing on initiatives impacting the shareholder record-keeping and peripheral systems including:
Independently performs daily assessment of escalated and exception scenarios. The majority of routine items are performed by our external service provider as a result of our outsourced business model. The team member is empowered to make decisions to resolve a wide range of items relating to policies, procedures, varying account type requirements and intermediary partners. In resolving items, based on assessment of the situation and whether further escalation is required, team member may present findings to appropriate management and influence the outcome of the situation. Team member balances financial and reputational risk with the client expectation finding an amenable solution to all parties. Team members have developed strong relationships with business partners as they explain the rationale behind recommendations. Team member ensures all items are appropriately documented to memorialize the action taken and create an audit trail.

Independently monitor service provider's execution of operational initiatives and the impact of those initiatives to our operational processes.
Liaise with our service provider and internal business partners to complete operational tasks.
Responded to a wide variety of service requests originating from clients, Sales, Service, or Product.
Manage assignments with little supervision from manager.
Complete impact analysis of initiative on transfer agent related policies, procedures, workflows, and system set-up for smaller project initiatives or assist with the completion for large scale or complex initiatives
Review exception requests (for example, below minimum requests) from our Sales and Service teams and assess whether exceptions should be pursued; seek counsel from other business units as appropriate when assessing a situation; make recommendations as to whether an exception should be granted using providing sound and reasonable, appropriately balancing risk.
Drive discussions on our communication approach of new products and services to our internal and external business partners.
Shepherd the communication process, ensuring operational considerations are addressed, internal business partner's insight is gained, and communications are sent timely to appropriate interested parties.
For transfer agent related initiatives, independently consults with all interested parties, builds the appropriate task list, and ensures timely execution.
Coordinate activities of external service providers ensuring timely completion of project deliverables
Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and efficiencies
Interact with internal customers in a team-oriented environment
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Identify opportunities to enhance the internal and external customer experience

5+ years of operations analysis experience
