We are currently looking to fill an Apps Systems Engineer 5 position on the Wealth and Investment Management Technology Team supporting the Wells Fargo Advisors Line of Business. This position will be supporting critical applications/products for the Wells Fargo Advisors line of business.
This role will act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing and having a thorough understanding of technology and tools. Analyzes business requirements and writes technical specifications critical to our Financial Advisors day to day work-flow. This role will also work closely with our Senior Business and Technology leaders on many fast paced projects. Will work closely with our infrastructure, architecture and other technology teams on all efforts. An escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems. Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan. This role will be split between new development; application, environment, and desktop support; troubleshooting; working with our business partners and vendors; for all present and future enhancements to our systems.
Must be flexible to work in ever changing environments.
7+ years of application development and implementation experience
5 + years of Citrix experience
5+ years of experience with desktop and laptop hardware configurations including: Dell, HP and Lenovo
5+ years of experience troubleshooting and problem solving with Windows
4+ years of vendor management experience
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
4+ years of Thomson Reuters experience
5+ years of experience leading multiple implementations
Experience designing, implementing and supporting Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
