Role: Bring your experience with scaled frontend development and implementing design systems to our team where they can be applied to big problems. This role includes significant ownership of the frontend platform used to develop multiple products within CBRE Build.
You value fast and accessible web products, intuitive developer experience and smart code sharing patterns. You're a good communicator and love to teach others as you lead the way.
This position reports to our Engineering Director and will be primarily located in Seattle.
Make significant contribution the implementation of our design system, including helping other engineers contribute
Architect UI components that are modular and reusable
Spend the time to get high quality design details
Improve internal code structure through refactoring, code review, writing tests, and addressing technical debt
Identify, log, and fix bugs, including in-depth testing of new features
Share technical knowledge with other team members, collaborate on tasks, and give appropriate feedback
Demonstrable history of shipping software with a product-oriented team
Advanced skills in React.js and ecosystem
Experience implementing and maintaining design systems
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field.
Typically has 5-7 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.
