The Fixed Income Department currently manages over $120 billion in fixed income assets across mutual funds and separately managed accounts for pension funds, foundations, and endowments. The Fixed Income Data & Analytics Specialist will work closely with members of the fixed income trading, investment and client-facing team.
Primary responsibilities will include:
•Managing data across multiple platforms •Reviewing security-level data (e.g. pricing, characteristics, credit rating changes, etc.) •Preparing ad-hoc and month-end reports on holdings, characteristics (e.g. duration), etc. •Loading holdings and transaction data between systems for further analysis, including performance attribution and risk analysis •Reviewing bond index data and ensuring accuracy •Working with Bloomberg PORT, YieldBook, CMS and other systems on data acquisition, quality, etc. •Work with compliance department on building and auditing compliance rules and fields •Assisting with security set-up and data integrity initiatives •Working closely with client reporting and other departments throughout the firm on month-end/quarter-end reporting and exhibits
•B.A. or B.S. degree, preferably with coursework in mathematics, finance, accounting, and/or statistics •2+ years of relevant work experience (capital markets, financial analysis, accounting, etc.) •MS Office, including advanced Excel knowledge (e.g. pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting) •Strong quantitative and analytical skills; working knowledge of Bloomberg, Yieldbook, Barclays POINT, or other fixed income systems •Organizational skills with strong attention to detail •Strong communication and interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment •Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects simultaneously •Growth mindset and an enthusiasm for learning
