Provides analytical and organizational support to the investment, client service and marketing teams in the
management of real asset portfolios including: portfolio attribution analysis, investment team reporting functions,
monitoring & maintenance of industry benchmarks, performance calculations, risk monitoring and reporting,
preparing marketing materials, generating client reports and responding to ad-hoc data related requests. This
position will sit within the Global Analytics team and thus will be responsible for aggregating performance and
portfolio data across multiple business lines and investment types within CBRE Global Investors. Support for
asset allocation analytics spanning the real asset spectrum of direct, listed, and debt investments will be
required. The successful candidate will work in a small team and work closely with different international
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers error free investment team and management reports on time.
Monitors and maintains industry and custom benchmarks.
Performs performance and other returns-based calculations error free.
Prepare analytical data for marketing material development including presentation, RFI/RFP responses,
and general consultant due diligence.
Supports the Global Head of Portfolio Analytics in aggregating performance and portfolio data across the
platform in an efficient and well-controlled manner.
Maintain global composites and generate performance insights for investment team consumption.
Support efforts for GIPS® compliance across the firm, including maintenance of composites, disclosures,
and relevant policies and procedures.
Perform asset allocation analysis, including correlations, risk/return statistics, and efficient frontiers.
Work collaboratively with the teams globally to promote consistent reporting across the CBRE Global
Responds to ad hoc data requests from all departments.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in mathematics, economics, finance, business, or related
qualification. 2-5 years of relevant Performance or Analytics experience that has been acquired in a real asset
investment, finance, or investment management environment preferred; Willingness to pursue continuing
education a plus (e.g. CIPM, CFA, MBA).
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
None required; CIPM or CFA a significant plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate organizational and analytical skills. Ability to
provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Understanding of general asset management process and investment valuation principles. Technically strong
with a firm understanding of performance measurement and attribution analysis. Real asset index and
benchmark knowledge a plus (i.e. NCREIF, MSCI/IPD, INREV, ANREV).
Ability to think independently and draw key insights from relevant data. Effective problem-solving skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Strong technical and Microsoft Excel skills are required; proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and financial
databases a plus; VBA/Process Automation experience as well as Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
or Tableau desirable; Understanding of investments, portfolio and performance concepts, Modern Portfolio
Theory, returns based statistics, risk statistics, and fundamental valuation statistics is preferred; Exposure to Yardi or FactSet a plus.
