The Fidelity Institutional Asset Management (FIAM) Sales Desk is a collaborative, competitive and fast paced environment. This role offers an extensive, paid training program that will expose you to the various facets of the financial services industry. The Purpose of Your Role As an Investment Sales Associate (ISA) your primary responsibility will be consulting with financial advisors and institutional clients via the phone. You’ll work on a daily basis to provide valuable market insight and portfolio construction ideas to help their clients achieve their financial goals. The Investment Sales Development Program is designed with three distinct roles that help you grow your personal financial industry foundation in addition to developing the necessary skills for the Regional Investment Consultant role (inside wholesaler). The three roles include: •Consulting with financial advisors through inbound phone calls •Partnering with external wholesalers to learn territory management and •Prospecting clients to uncover new opportunities and drive business development. Throughout these three roles and the 12-18 months of the program you will focus on building your: •Market knowledge •Sales & Consulting Skills •Product Knowledge •Presentation Capabilities •Territory Management
As you develop these skills, you will earn the opportunity to interview for the RIC position based on merit and demonstrated understanding of the required skills. If you love working with people and have a passion for financial services and markets, this is the job for you!
The Expertise We’re Looking For •Bachelor’s Degree •An interest and ability to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses •Passion for the financial or investment management industry •No previous finance experience necessary!
