Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer, The Real Estate Underwriting & Analytics Associate is responsible for performing all financial analysis pertaining to CBREs portfolio. This position is responsible for all market research, competitive analysis, deal underwriting, pipeline reporting and real estate analytics globally. This role will assist with lease negotiations and financial review discussions with external real estate partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct market research for new and existing markets within a designated region
Responsible for completing competitive landscape analysis and benchmarking
deal underwriting, benchmarking and overall pipeline/portfolio analytics
Research and support development of strategic partnerships in the region
Collaborate with global leadership and analytics team to facilitate market analytics, demographic studies, new market selection, and reporting
Be the central point of contact for regional deal teams related to financial deal underwriting
Assist with creative partnership structures for expanding the partnership portfolio
Conduct face-to-face meetings and calls with external commercial real estate partners in conjunction with Business Development
Liaise with Corporate Finance and Accounting to ensure proper reporting

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university, and a minimum of five years' experience in Commercial Real Estate, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or Real Estate Finance. Advanced graduate degree preferred.
Strong capabilities in financial modeling and market research
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of commercial real estate industry
Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
