As part of The Boston Company's Product Management team, the Product Specialist conducts research and analysis and provides project support to manage the successful development and promotion of our firm's products and services.
Assist Portfolio Strategists by providing high-level collaborative support and analytical reports to support competitive product positioning in the marketplace.
Responsible for advanced portfolio analysis, commentary, marketing material creation and maintenance. Assist Sales/Client Service teams with analysis on portfolios and with appropriate responses to client requests.
Be directly involved with new product identification, research, design and product specifications, with the objective of anticipating and meeting client needs. Research, track and analyze industry trends, competitors' products and performance as well as our own.
Maintain our firm's relationship with data providers, such as Morningstar, Lipper, eVestment and Callan.
Keep up to date with marketplace developments, advising the team and management of new directions and trends and assessing the impact of new developments on BNY Mellon and competitors.
Bachelors Degree with a progression towards MBA and/or CFA
2-5 years of experience in financial services and/or the investment management industry.
Knowledge of equity markets and/or asset management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and flexible and able to work as part of a team
Literate in all MS Office applications
