Reporting to the Director of Student Advising, the Senior Associate Director (Sr. AD), Career Advisor instructs, counsels, and advises MBA students on long-term career development as well as immediate job search objectives for full-time MBA positions and summer internships within specific industries or sectors that may include any of the following: Consulting, Consumer Products, Diversified Financial Services, Energy, Health Care, Hedge Funds, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Private Equity, Public Interest, Real Estate, Retail, Technology / Telecom, Travel & Hospitality, Venture Capital, and Entrepreneurship. This position will provide direction to the Recruiting Relationship Manager(s) in developing a strategic plan for maintaining the office’s quick response to changes in the economy and to changes in the students’ industry choices. The SAD will also work with their industry RRM to broaden corporate relationships within their industries. The SAD will work closely with a number of important internal and external groups including faculty, students, employers, and alumni to achieve the goals of Career Management. Finally, the SAD will contribute to content and execution of a number of important projects including the student resume processes, mock interviews, trek management, web design and a number of other student related programs.
