About the PositionCallan seeks an international equity manager research professional with a minimum of two years’ experience for the firm’s Global Manager Research Group in San Francisco. Job responsibilities include conducting investment manager research and manager searches, assisting clients and consultants, and contributing to asset class research. Specific responsibilities and job skill requirements include, but are not limited to:Responsibilities:•Conduct international equity asset class and manager/product research and analysis •Perform manager searches in a broad array of international equity areas including developed non-US, global, emerging markets, international/global small cap and currency •Write semi-annual reviews on a specified group of international strategies•Interact with Callan generalist consultants and clients on international asset class issues•Document research findings for internal consultant and external client use•Contribute asset class research to Callan’s published research efforts•Present asset class research at Callan client and industry conferences/events•Assist with client projects and requests as neededJob Skills and Characteristics:•Interest in international equity markets•International equity investment manager research experience•Strong analytical skills•Detail oriented•Extremely responsive•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal •Proactive, resourceful and results oriented•Team player across all levels of the company•Ability to multi-task and be flexible•Willingness to travel•San Francisco-based candidates only
