Respond to detailed CLO investor RFP, investor inquiries and data requests. An intermediate knowledge of CLOs is highly recommended.
Create new and update existing CLO marketing materials for distribution to potential investors and other third parties including, but not limited to, the creation of customized data sets for marketing presentations.
Responsible for the aggregation of portfolio, performance and market data and updating of source data spreadsheets.
Interface with the Group's CLO compliance, finance and risk team concerning cash balances, monthly reports, compliance results, etc.
Have a thorough understanding of CLO indentures, and manage the creation tables and matrices of key components of such indentures.
Provide administrative and technical assistance on an as needed basis.
Complete ad hoc reports and projects as requested by the CLO portfolio managers.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical or quantitative discipline (e.g., math, engineering, computer science).
2-3 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably investment management, with specific experience in database analysis and portfolio reporting.
Fluency with Microsoft Excel VBA or VB script, SQL programming languages.
Required previous experience in a front office, spreadsheet based Excel/VBA tactical development team.
Robust analytic and quantitative skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of and interest in structured finance.
Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong professional relationships with both internal and external parties.
Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with the other members of the CLO Team.
Reliable, self-starter, highly detail oriented, well organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent time management skills, and ability to work in a deadline-focused environment.
