Our client is a well backed, high growth FinTech, with an exciting big data intelligence / machine learning analytics solution for investment research. Their disruptive technology stack is aimed at portfolio managers, equity research analysts and traders within the hedge fund and the wider long-only buy side community. With no direct competitors this company has found a niche with a unique and compelling proposition allowing portfolio managers to quickly capitalize upon investment opportunities.
They have some great Wall Street names onboard and are expanding further to meet global growth ambitions, by ensuring their tools become industry standard. Hence they're looking to hire two more new business sales professionals in New York to join this growing office (either Manhattan office, or home based if someone lives in/around the Tri-State region).
Appropriate applicants need to be able to show:
- At least 2+ years experience selling to financial institutions (i.e. either Investment Banks, Asset Managers and/or Hedge Funds etc). Experience selling to portfolio managers / analysts would ideal.
- A proven ability and interest for new business sales.
- The ability to pick up solutions that are new and unique in the market.
- It's likely you'll have experience working for either a technology company, financial information / market data vendor, or investment research service provider. Experience working for companies like Bloomberg, S&P, Factset, Morningstar or Thomson Reuters etc, would be very appropriate
- The ability to pick up solutions which are new and unique in the market.
- An articulate, consultative and confident solution sales approach.
- Interest in working for a high growth enterprise, with the personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.
