Reporting to a Team Leader within the Shared Billing group, the Financial Billing Analyst will be responsible for providing client billing activities for several BNY Mellon investment subsidiaries in the US and the UK. The individual in this role will interpret and maintain fee arrangements for subsidiaries' client relationships. The Financial Billing Analyst will process account setups, terminations, maintenance, invoice preparation, and invoice distribution within established quality standards.
He or she will maintain written procedures and communicate with offshore team members as well as Finance and Client Service teams in multiple locations. The individual in this role will work in a time sensitive and high risk environment and is expected to prioritize/re-prioritize in high-pressure situations. The Financial Billing Analyst must have high attention to detail, flexibility and teamwork is essential to maintaining service standards.
- Production of monthly and quarter end invoices and associated functions
- Have an understanding of the SOX process and be able to participate in audit requests
- Process account setup, maintenance and terminations
- Research and respond client and investment subsidiary inquiries
- Partner with team members on account analysis and process improvement
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or familiarity with database concepts
- 3+ years of related financial accounting and/or financial reporting experience
