We are seeking a dynamic Senior Research Analyst to join our Global Investment team who is responsible for executing the complete spectrum of investment manager sourcing, evaluation and oversight processes.
Specific Job Responsibilities: •Develop intimate knowledge of specific manager portfolios, investment processes, and rationale including quantitative and qualitative research and analysis •Prepare written analyses of manager investment strategies and execution capabilities •Develop and leverage technology to maintain manager specific data and track valuation metrics •Prepare fund manager due diligence summaries for internal review based on materials received as well as independently sourced information •Create full-length investment due diligence reports for broad distribution •Drive process enhancements to optimize the value derived from due diligence protocols
Qualifications/Requirements: •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or other quantitative discipline or related major is required •Master’s degree: MBA or MS in Finance or other quantitative discipline is desired •Progress toward a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is strongly preferred. If the candidate does not have a CFA, s/he must be willing to earn this certification •Strong PC skills and ability to develop analytics and reports •Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in investment management field •Strong investigative and quantitative problem solving skills •Excellent oral and written communications skills •Ability to work effectively under pressure •High level of personal accountability and appreciation of opportunities for innovation •Must work well independently and as part of a small team in a dynamic environment •Must be comfortable working in a flat organizational environment •Proficiency with FactSet is preferred •Willingness to travel 20-30%
