The primary role of the Private Banking Sr. Client Service Relationship Manager is to manage assigned client relationships, support staff and all activities within a PBCG Client Service Relationship Team. This position supports the timely response to and resolution of client needs regarding investments, cash management, deposit, mortgage and loan services. The incumbent is responsible for maximizing the profitability and retention of Private Banking/Wealth Management relationships in an assigned portfolio of accounts through client servicing and identification of cross-sell opportunities for the existing client base. The incumbent will work closely with the relationship level Wealth Management investment and sales partners to maintain and grow client relationships. S/he will refer cross-sell opportunities to Private Banking and Wealth Management teams as they are identified. S/he ensures that all existing clients are provided quality service. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for insuring that their team of Client Service Representatives meets assigned deadlines for completion of client requests, problem resolution and projects. Both the Senior Client Service Relationship Manager and the Client Service Relationship team(s) will provide cross-regional support as needs arise. The incumbent will have the responsibility for direct line management of a Client Service Relationship Team(s) which includes, but not limited to staff hiring and training, development and performance management; procedure development and review; and risk identification/mitigation. Other responsibilities include research and completion of a variety of banking processes. The Sr. Client Service Relationship Manager will also be responsible for managing Specialty Team(s). He/she will be responsible for group compliance to policies and procedures, insuring that the team achieves successful audit ratings and understands/adheres to all compliance and audit guidelines. In support of Specialty Teams the Sr. Client Service Relationship manager will be responsible for working closely with the Private Bankers, Registered Investment Advisors (RIA), Pershing Client Services liaison in addition to the client. The incumbent will work with the Private Banker to coordinate and implement newly sourced investment credit lines, CMMA accounts with various internal teams, as well as, the client and his/her RIA. Knowledge of Investment Credit Line and Cash Management Access products is desired. As needed, the Sr. Client Service Relationship Manager will be responsible for the coordination and completion of client requests by their staff, such as banking services for loans, deposits and mortgages. S/he must have a proven track record in risk-based decision making surrounding compliance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications The qualified candidate will typically have a BA/BS degree. S/he must have excellent sales and/or relationship management skills. The qualified candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. S/he must have excellent problem resolution skills, the ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines in a high volume, time-sensitive environment are required along with the ability to adapt to flexible work hours. 5-10 years of prior client service banking experience is required and 3-5 years management experience is required.
