The Trust and Investment Services team provides customized, comprehensive financial management services and solutions to clients. As a key member of the team, the incumbent engages directly with clients to seamlessly deliver financial planning, investment and fiduciary services. In addition, the incumbent works closely with assigned Portfolio Managers and the client’s key outside advisors to facilitate and/or perform a broad range of investment, trust and planning activities for clients. The incumbent also works with the team to develop and assure team business development goals are met.
Support the financial planning needs of assigned client’s
Responsible for the administration, risk management and servicing of assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts
Work in close collaboration with Portfolio Managers, strategic advisors and Operations teams to provide a high quality, well-integrated service experience to clients.
Build rapport with clients as well as their outside advisors (accountants, attorneys, etc).
Understand basic fiduciary issues relative to client relationships; partner with team and external advisors to coordinate tax, estate planning and fiduciary matters for clients.
Represents the organization in business development activities and ongoing business activities through contacts with clients, attorneys, and beneficiaries, as appropriate.
Represents the organization through involvement in various company sponsored and community activities.
Contribute to the growth and development of the Department by undertaking special projects as assigned.
Eight+ years relevant work in financial planning, investment advisory and/or fiduciary related activities.
Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation preferred but not required.
Proven ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients and their outside advisors
Trust administration experience a plus but not required.
Proficiency in leveraging systems and processes to execute activities with accuracy and efficiency.
Excellent business development skills and interest
