Founded in 2005, New York based Landseer Advisors serves as the investment office for a handful of nonprofit entities. Our objective is to support the missions of schools, foundations, and other nonprofits by helping them successfully invest their endowments. Funds are invested across a range of asset classes and geographies, primarily through allocations to external investment management firms. Endowment portfolios include investments in public equity, private equity, real estate, natural resources, and various distressed debt and structured finance strategies.
Landseer seeks an individual for the role of investment performance analyst. Timely and accurate assessments of investment performance are essential to numerous decision-making processes, including asset allocation, manager evaluation, and analysis of individual investments. The investment performance analyst will work closely with the rest of Landseer’s investment team to gather and manage investment performance information; track and analyze investment returns, risk, and attribution across client portfolios; and assess investment opportunities. The investment performance analyst will also assist in other data analysis related to Landseer’s ongoing investment research and monitoring.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
Produce monthly performance reporting materials for client portfolios.
Manage data collection related to portfolio performance reporting, risk measurement, and external manager evaluation.
Assist in the analysis of current and historical portfolio performance and positioning.
Interface with external investment managers in support of Landseer's investment work.
Help Landseer clients as needed with cash management, investment funding, document preparation and submission, administrator and custodian interaction, and audit support.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required. Individuals seeking the role of investment performance analyst must have strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills; be detail-oriented; and have a keen interest in investing. Prior related experience is preferable.
