The Investment Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation and oversight for all aspects of the Investment Offices operational processes, controls, systems and environment. This will include: daily transactional and reconciliation activity, monthly valuations and reconciliations, collaboration tools and databases, external service providers (Custodian/Auditor), and development and maintenance of best-in-class controls and processes. The Investment Operations Manager will participate in team meetings as well as industry peer group discussions, conferences and networking opportunities.
CPA or Masters degree with at least 5-7 years' experience in endowment administration or related field. Strong understanding of accounting controls and processes, especially for investments including hedge funds and private funds. Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to concisely articulate oneself. Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with Bloomberg. High ethical standards and personal integrity. Self-motivated, proactive, intellectually curious and inquisitive. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with vendors, investment managers and other professionals.
