The Chief Financial Officer & Vice President of Finance position requires someone with strong financial leadership balanced with an appreciation for the mission that drives our priorities to ensure sound and effective management of the organization's resources. This includes the overall management of the accounting and finance functions of the association, providing internal support to staff at multiple levels, and facilitating the development and achievement of the organizations revenue and expense goals as an integrated component of the corresponding operational and strategic business objectives.
This role serves as a senior team leader and partner to the CEO while providing leadership at the board level to ensure services and resources are utilized effectively across the organization.
This position is ideal for someone whose demonstrated leadership ability makes him or her the perfect "voice" of the organizations finances and infrastructure to staff and both internal and external leadership. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of strategic business development, can be both the inspiration and perspiration behind the growth of revenue and places high personal value on working for an organization with a worthy mission.

Bachelors degree required, MBA desired and preferred; CPA required
8 + years experience in finance/accounting
5 + years managing accounting staff
3 + years in a leadership role working with a NFP board
Strong knowledge and experience with Federal Grants and OMB Circular A-133 audit requirements
