Pacific Investment Management Company LLC seeks a Sr. Associate, Information Strategy in its New York, New York location. Duties: Responsible for client data profile quality efforts to assess and ensure ongoing accuracy of information across the company and with suppliers and customers. Use Semarchy Master Data Management to build consolidation rules for data feeds, perform data stewarding by building strong data validation and matching rules to ensure that publisher provided data is cleansed and transformed into usable information. Utilize CRM knowledge to navigate through current implementation and gain a deep understanding of the business functionality and identify gaps. Leverage knowledge of financial products including bonds and derivatives combined with technical knowledge to propose, design and manage solutions and their implementation. Act as the primary liaison between technology teams and the sales users to ensure project deliverables are achieved. Play an advisory role for specifications around front to back data lifecycle and flows, working closely with several IT teams, including data warehouse and CRM technology, to ensure architecture is optimized. Perform critical analysis, consolidating requirements from multiple stakeholders, prioritize items based on their tactical or strategic importance and managed implementation. Document business and functional specifications using standard UML tools, produced User Acceptance Test and Quality Assurance Test packs and support users during UAT and go-live. Employ industry standard tools to come up with diagrams of system processes and workflows. Develop and participate in the review of requirements, data mappings, use cases and other artifacts to communicate the system requirements to the technical team. Perform data analysis, with an understanding of entity relationship modeling to develop data prototypes to confirm business requirements and expectations to IT. Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests, write complex SQL queries to extract data from multiple source systems and provided meaningful analysis and recommendations. Requirements: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology or closely related field and 4 years experience in job offered or closely related technology occupation in the financial industry. Alternatively , employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology or closely related field plus 6 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience in job offered or closely related technology occupation in the financial industry in lieu of a Master's and 4 years of experience.
Experience must include one year with each of the following skills: 1) Financial industry products, including fixed income securities and derivatives; 2) Business Process Automation; 3) Data Analysis, Querying, and Quality Management with SQL; 4) Business Analysis and Requirements gathering UML using Visio; and 5) Agile Project Management.
