Team Overview The Consulting Group (CG) and Practice Management (PM) COO Team within Wealth Management focuses on driving strategic initiatives across the advisory business (producing ~$7B annual revenues) and supporting analytical reporting needs of the practice management team. The COO team works closely with senior management across both CG and the Firm to conduct strategic analyses, develop recommendations, execute on initiatives designed to drive economics across the businesses, general business management, and organic & inorganic growth across the division and the Firm. Position Overview As the head of Business Management for CG and PM, the individual will manage a full time team of 4 and 1-2 rotational analyst ensuring proper prioritization and attention to the division's strategic initiatives and ongoing reporting needs. Specifically, the head and the team individually will cover different on going or ad hoc projects, conducting quantitative analyses, creating and delivering presentations to senior management, acting as a liaison between internal partners, and assisting in the execution of key strategic priorities. The role requires an individual with strong analytical, project management, presentation and communication skills looking to develop their experience as a department manager.
Bachelor's degree with strong academic record
At least 5-7 years post-college experience, at a top-tier management consulting firm, investment bank or in a Fortune 500 corporate strategy team
Nimble, detail oriented individual with a great attitude and ability to grow with the company and into new roles
Team-player with excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities simultaneously, to work independently, and to drive projects to completion with minimum guidance and high attention to detail
Strong experience with business analysis, familiarity in Excel and database querying. Sharp analytical ability and a knack for synthesizing data and patterns into succinct presentations for management consumption
Knowledge of Business Objects, Tableau, SQL, & Alpine a plus
