GRAPHIC DESIGNER/REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATE, MIT Investment Management Company (MITIMCo), to act as MITIMCo's subject expert in graphic design, with the primary responsibility of developing print and presentation materials for the Cambridge Real Estate Team. Responsibilities include gathering information/materials from internal or outside sources and generating multiple initial concepts for design solutions; developing creative ways to present material; conceptualizing, planning, designing, and producing a range of graphic and illustrative materials; using computer software applications to execute designs; maintaining geographic information system (GIS) maps and files; conducting research and synthesizing and analyzing the data; working with consultants to coordinate design efforts, make editing suggestions, and obtaining and filing all visual collateral produced; and helping staff in their use of graphics software.
REQUIRED: minimum of three years' work experience in graphic design; Microsoft Excel and Word fluency; ability to develop sophisticated PowerPoint presentations; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro; willingness to learn new computer skills/applications; self-motivation and willingness to suggest improvements/refinements to enhance the team's overall effectiveness; organizational skills; meticulous attention to detail; comfort interacting with high-level executives; discretion and good judgment with confidential information/issues; and demonstrated communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Must be able to track project files and progress; multitask, shift between projects as new priorities emerge, and execute assignments and resolve problems quickly; and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in real estate, architecture, or related field preferred; as is experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and ArcGIS. Experience with Prezi, Tableau, and other presentation and analysis software; and with HTML/CSS and website editing using WordPress, Drupal, and other web design software a plus. Job #15096-N
